relaynet Acceptable Use Policy
Effective October 14, 2026.
relaynet gives browser virtual machines and other clients a path to the internet through shared addresses. This policy keeps those addresses usable for everyone. It applies to all traffic sent through your account or its tokens.
Not allowed
- Spam and bulk messaging, including through webmail or APIs. Outbound mail (port 25) is blocked.
- Scanning and probing: port scans, vulnerability scans, or mapping networks you do not own or have written permission to test.
- Attacks: denial of service, brute-force or credential-stuffing logins, exploiting vulnerabilities, or spreading malware.
- Evasion: using relaynet to get around another service's blocks, rate limits, bans or terms, including ban evasion and ticket or sneaker bots.
- Scraping at scale that ignores a site's terms or robots rules, or that loads a site beyond normal use.
- Anonymising others: running a public proxy, VPN or Tor relay or exit that lets third parties send traffic through relaynet.
- Illegal content and activity: anything unlawful where you are or where the traffic goes, including child sexual abuse material, infringing copyrighted works, fraud and harassment.
- Attacking relaynet: trying to reach the relay's internal network or other users' sessions, spoofing addresses, or bypassing limits.
Enforcement
I review abuse reports and the connection records described in the Privacy Policy. Depending on severity I may warn you, close sessions, suspend or delete the account, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Serious or repeated violations lead to immediate deletion.
Reporting abuse
Send reports to abuse@relaynet.network with the destination address and port, the time (with time zone) and any logs. I aim to respond within two business days.
